Sarah Purtill is serving her second term with AmeriCorps as the Statewide Planning and Evaluation VISTA with Arkansas Access to Justice (AATJ). She uses storytelling to integrate a participatory, human dimension into program evaluation. Prior to joining the team at AATJ, Sarah served with a public health nonprofit in her home community. Here, she piloted and evaluated community health initiatives that are currently employed in low-income communities across the state.
Sarah earned her BA degrees in political science, psychology, and philosophy summa cum laude from the University of Connecticut. She currently lives in Little Rock and will be attending law school in Boston next fall.
