What question did we have? We asked: “Fundraising is all about relationships. What do you think will be the most essential piece in motivating this next generation of Little Rock’s donors?”
Ganelle Blake, M.Ed., obtained a bachelor‘s degree in Theatre Arts from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She studied Suzuki and Viewpoints with the Saratoga International Theatre Institute and was a member of the 2008 Apprentice/Intern Company at Actor’s Theatre of Louisville. After obtaining a Masters degree in secondary education from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, Ganelle began her fundraising career as a full-time AmeriCorps VISTA at Our House, a comprehensive program for working homeless individuals and families. She has raised over $1 million for Arkansas nonprofit organizations, and she specializes in branding and strategic planning. Ganelle is a member of Rotary International Club 99. She is also the chairperson of the Essay and Oratorical committee and serves on the strategic planning committee for that civic organization. She is president-elect for the Association of Fundraising Professionals board of directors and sits on young professionals boards for the Arkansas Arts Center, ACANSA Festival, and the Arkansas Repertory Theatre.
